Blank Survey Form
As you may know, the AALS has a new Section on International Human Rights. Because of the number of requests the section leadership has received from students around the world, we are taking a survey of international human rights activities in American Law Schools. The survey is also intended to assist our colleagues in U.S. legal education who would like to become involved in international human rights service. The completed survey will be placed on the Section website this summer.
Most of these questions are directed toward the staff or directors of human rights clinics and centers. If your school does not have a clinic or center, but offers relevant coursework or other international human rights activity, we would nonetheless like to include this information on the website.
If you have not yet responded to the survey, please take a moment to fill it out and return it to Beth Lyon, preferably via email to lyon@law.villanova.edu, or via fax at 610-519-5173. If you have questions, please notify Beth Lyon by email or at 610-519-7126. Please do not feel obliged to answer each and every question and do not hesitate to let Beth Lyon know if you have preferences about the distribution of particular information.
For those of you who have already responded to the survey, thank you. We will be back in touch with you with the final draft for your approval before it is placed on the website.
We will send an email each year to various international human rights listservs reminding them of this website, so that it can continue to be a resource.
Thank you very much for your help.
