Applying to VLS
Thank you for your interest in applying to Villanova University School of Law. The admissions process is designed to give applicants the opportunity to demonstrate their full abilities. The School of Law welcomes all to its community, regardless of race, sex, religion or creed, sexual orientation, national or ethnic origin, age economic status or disability. We actively recruit excellent students from diverse backgrounds. Although selection to the School of Law is highly competitive, the wide range of numerical scores of each year’s matriculating class indicates a class selected using a variety of criteria. Students interested in the J.D./LL.M. in Taxation, or the J.D./M.B.A. in conjunction with Villanova Business School, or the J.D./M.P.A. in conjunction with the Villanova College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, program must apply and be accepted to both the J.D. and the other degree program.
Applicants who intend to practice law should be aware that admission to the bar in all states involves character, fitness and other qualifications. Applicants are encouraged to determine what those requirements are in the state(s) in which they
intend to practice by consulting the website of the National Conference of Bar Examiners at http://www.ncbex.org. See also http://www.americanbar.org/groups/legal_education/resources/bar_admissions.html.
