Reimel Moot Court Judge
Dear Villanova School of Law Alumnus:
With the beginning of a new school year approaching, the Moot Court Board and the Villanova School of Law community are preparing for the 53rd Anniversary of our Theodore L. Reimel Moot Court Competition. The Reimel Competition has become a hallmark of the Villanova Law experience, and this is due in large part to the cooperation of our alumni volunteers. We are asking once again for your support.
The Moot Court Board is currently seeking alumni to judge the first and second rounds of the Competition. Round One of the Competition will take place during October 1st through October 4th, and Round Two will be October 15th through October 18th. This year, the scheduling process will exist in a web-based format. We believe this enables us to operate more efficiently in an increasingly paperless world, while simultaneously providing flexibility to schedule at your convenience. If you would like to judge, please fill out an alumni online interest form. It is especially important that you include your e-mail address on the online interest form, so all future messages and judging packets can be sent electronically.
In addition, unforeseen circumstances often arise and result in last minute cancellations from judges. We are especially appreciative of those alumni who volunteer to serve as emergency judges. If you believe you might be able to judge an argument on short notice, please note this on the form as well.
This year’s Competition, with legal issues authored by Professor Mitch Nathanson, promises to be challenging and impressive. We are very appreciative of our generous alumni. After all, this event is not possible without your support. The Moot Court Board thanks you for volunteering your time, and we hope that you will join us to celebrate another year of the Reimel Competition.
Sincerely,
Nicole A. Santiago
