Commencement Ceremony
11:00 a.m., The Pavilion, Villanova University
Doors Open at 10:00 am for guest seating
Line-up for graduates begins at 10:40 a.m.
The ceremony usually concludes approximately 12:30 pm.

Reception
A light reception will be held at the law school following the ceremony. The reception takes place from approximately 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm. All graduates, families and friends are welcome to attend.

Seating
Tickets are not necessary for the Law School's Commencement Ceremony. Each graduate may invite an unlimited number of guests. Seating includes bleachers, sidechairs, and the balcony of the Pavilion. Limited floor seating for guests with special needs is available.
Parking
Parking for the Mass and Ceremony is available in the Main Lot located along Lancaster Avenue or at the Law School. Commencement events are all located within a short walk across campus. Parking for the reception is available at the Law School. University Public Safety will be available to help direct guests to designated parking areas for the day.
Guests with disabilities or special needs may be permitted to drop-off guests close to the Pavilion door, following the instructions of Villanova's public safety offciers that day. There will be shuttle bus service to/from the law school parking lot to the Pavilion main entrance running limited service for guests convenience from approximately 9:00 am until the conclusion of the ceremony.
Cap and Gowns/Diplomas
The Career Strategy Office (CSO) will distribute gowns in Room 221 of the Law School on the following days:
April 19, 22, 23; 10 am-noon and 2pm-4pm
April 24 - May 10; 2pm-4pm
May 13 -15; 10 am-noon and 2pm-4pm
Thursday May 16; 10 am- noon
Any changes to the schedule and requirements to pick-up cap and gowns will be communicated by the CSO. Following the Commencement ceremony on May 17th, all caps and gowns are to be returned to the Distribution and Copy Center of the law school and graduates may then pick-up your official diploma.

Hometown News
The VLS Communications office is again offering a service that can send news of your graduation to your hometown newspapers. Since individuals have varying preferences for privacy, this as an opt-in service for all graduates. If you would like to participate in the program, graduates should please forward the following information to Kate Johnston ( kate.johnston@villanova.edu ) no later than Monday, May 13.

Hotel and Restaurant Accommodations
We encourage you and your guests to make your hotel reservations and restaurant reservations as early as possible. Villanova University's Commencement activites take place on the same weekend.
