Michelle Orsi
A Great Fit
Michelle Orsi ‘09 is excited to be pursuing her career in Washington DC and working for the Office of the Legislative Counsel of the U.S. House of Representatives. “I have been involved with community service organizations since I was in high school,” she said, “so pursuing public interest work in Law School seemed to be a natural fit.” VLS turned out to be a great fit, too. “At Villanova I knew that I could trust my classmates to help me through tough courses and concepts just as much as I would help them. The Villanova faculty were extremely well-qualified and dedicated to teaching,” said Michelle.
While at Law School she was able to take advantage of several student organizations and academic opportunities that helped her prepare for her career. She was a member of the National Trial Competition Team for two years, and served as President of the Trial Advocacy Club. Michelle externed with the PA Health Law Project and was a member of the Health Law Society. She was also active with the Public Interest Fellowship Program and served as the Fundraising Coordinator for the Pro Bono society.
