Lynne currently serves as the Assistant Director for Reader Services, supervising the Reference and Circulation staff in the Law Library. She is also responsible for coordinating the Legal Research component of 1L instruction, along with teaching Legal Research and Advanced Legal Research. Lynne joined the Villanova Law School Library in 1997, after serving for many years as an adjunct English professor at the University of Pittsburgh and various other colleges. She holds a J.D. from Duquesne Law School, an M.L.S. in Library Science from the University of Pittsburgh, an M.A. in Liberal Studies from Villanova University, an M.S.W. from the University of Pittsburgh, an M.A. in English from the University of Pittsburgh and a B.A. from Carnegie Mellon University. She has also completed coursework for the Ph.D. in English from the University of Pittsburgh. Lynne is a prolific book reviewer, publishing reviews in Library Journal, Law Library Journal, and College and Research Libraries, inter alia. She is nationally known as an expert reviewer of mystery fiction and writes a column regularly appearing in Mystery Scene Magazine.
