Bryant D. Lim

Biography

Mr. Lim is Associate General Counsel at ViroPharma, Incorporated, a multinational biotechnology company committed to developing and commercializing innovative products that address unmet medical needs. At ViroPharma, Mr. Lim focuses his practice on global regulatory and compliance issues across a broad range of issues relating to clinical trials, promotion, sales and marketing and drug safety.

Prior to joining ViroPharma, Mr. Lim was Assistant Counsel at Merck & Co., Inc. where he focuses his practice on FDA and other regulatory matters relating to the promotion, sales and marketing of prescription pharmaceutical products. Prior to joining Merck, he was an attorney with Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP in Philadelphia. Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Edmund V. Ludwig of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Lim graduated from Villanova University School of Law in 1996, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Villanova Law Review. He was also the author of a note on the federal Sentencing Guidelines, entitled "A Retreat from Uniformity: When Does Compliance With A Plea Agreement Justify A Downward Departure?" 40 Vill. L.R. 429 (1995). He currently serves on the Leadership Board of the Minority Alumni Society of the Villanova Law Alumni Association.
