Biography
Christopher French joins us from K&L Gates LLP in Pittsburgh, where he was a partner and practiced since 1991 in the area of commercial litigation, with a focus on insurance coverage disputes. He has also been an adjunct professor of law at Duquesne University since 2010. Professor French received his BA in philosophy and economics from Columbia University and his JD from Harvard Law School. His interests are in insurance, civil procedure, contracts, evidence, torts, and conflicts of law. Professor French will teach Insurance Law in the fall and a section of Contracts in the spring.
