Biography
Mr. Ryan is a partner at the firm of O'Brien & Ryan, LLP, where he has practiced since 1986. A substantial portion of Mr. Ryan's practice is dedicated to the litigation of complex professional liability claims. Mr. Ryan has tried hundreds of cases in Philadelphia and throughout Pennsylvania in State and Federal Courts, representing hospitals and physicians of virtually every specialty in medical negligence litigation. Mr. Ryan's practice also includes the defense of attorneys in legal malpractice actions, the litigation of commercial claims, and the mediation of a wide variety of major claims and disputes. Mr. Ryan is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and National Board Member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. Mr. Ryan is a frequent lecturer on matters related to complex professional liability litigation.
