Biography
Ed is the Partner-in-Charge for KPMG’s Pennsylvania Tax Practice, and is the National Industry Leader for KPMG’s U.S. Real Estate Tax Practice. Ed has over 25 years experience providing tax services to the real estate industry. His clients consist of Real Estate Opportunity and Private Equity Funds, Real Estate Investment Trusts, real estate developers, property management companies, contractors, corporate real estate departments, pension funds and specialty finance companies. Ed has extensive experience in Real Estate Investment Trust public offerings, acquisition and disposition tax structuring, securitization transactions and partnership structuring. He is also a member of KPMG’s Firmwide Partnership Taxation Specialty Team.
Ed has been a frequent speaker, panelist and presenter of current real estate industry topics. He is a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association Tax Section and is a licensed certified public accountant in Illinois, Pennsylvania and Ohio.
