Isabel Duffy

Biography

Ms. Duffy is an in-house attorney at Auxilium Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a specialty biopharmaceutical company with a mission of developing and marketing novel treatment options that address unmet medical needs.  At Auxilium, Ms. Duffy focuses her practice on commercial, regulatory and compliance issues across a broad range of issues relating to clinical trials, promotion, sales and marketing, and the commercial operations of the company.

Prior to joining Auxilium, Ms. Duffy was Assistant Counsel at Merck & Co., Inc. where she focused her practice on matters relating to the promotion, sales and marketing of prescription pharmaceutical products. Prior to joining Merck, she was an attorney in the litigation department of Drinker, Biddle & Reath LLP in Philadelphia where she specialized in commercial litigation, white collar crime and antitrust matters. Prior to joining Drinker Biddle, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Eduardo C. Robreno of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Ms. Duffy graduated from Villanova University School of Law in 1997, where she was a member of the Villanova Law Review and the Order of the Coif.  She currently serves on the Leadership Board of the Minority Alumni Society of the Villanova Law Alumni Association.
