Biography
Matthew R. Helman, Esq. is an associate at Walker Law Offices, P.C. in Philadelphia, which he joined in 2010. He works on labor and employment litigation representing several labor unions on the district and local levels in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. During law school he completed internships with the Montgomery County Public Defender's office and with Marcia Binder Ibrahim, Esq. Prior to attending Villanova Law Mr. Helman was employed by Baach Robinson and Lewis PLLC in Washington, DC.
While in law school Mr. Helman competed for Villanova's Trial Advocacy Competition Team. He was a member of Villanova's 2009 Regional Championship team for the Texas Young Lawyer's Association National Trial Competition and a Regional Finalist in 2010. Mr. Helman won an individual award at the 2009 Lone Star Classic for Best Direct Examination. Mr. Helman also competed in trial advocacy at The George Washington University where he won several awards and Regional Championships.
