Michael B. Kennedy

Biography

Mr. Kennedy is a tax partner in the Philadelphia office of PricewaterhouseCoopers. He is also the National Director of the Personal Financial Services Group. Mr. Kennedy is a former Adjunct Assistant Professor of Accounting at LaSalle University, where he instructed M.B.A. graduate students in partnership taxation and estate and gift taxation. In addition, he was a guest lecturer at Rider University and Temple University, where he offered M.B.A. and LL.M. students insight into a broad area of tax related subjects.

Mr. Kennedy has co-authored several tax planning related articles. He is also a frequent contributor to the WALL STREET JOURNAL, BUSINESS WEEK, THE PHILADELPHIA DAILY NEWS and THE PHILADELPHIA INQUIRER on taxation and personal financial planning matters. He is a former director of the Philadelphia Estate Planning Council, as well as a member of the American, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware Institutes of Certified Public Accountants, and the International Fiscal Association. He is also a registered Investment Adviser Representative. Mr. Kennedy has extensive experience in providing financial planning for public company executives and owners on sophisticated income tax, investment and estate planning matters.
