Biography
Michael Drossner represents individuals and corporations during all stages of government investigations and proceedings in both federal and state court. In addition, he conducts litigation on behalf of individuals whose basic and fundamental civil rights have been violated.
After graduating from Villanova Law School in 2001, Mr. Drossner worked in the public sector as a staff attorney for the prestigious Defender Association of Philadelphia where he represented indigent individuals charged with committing state criminal offenses. As an assistant defender, Mr. Drossner tried, literally, hundreds of cases to verdict and represented thousands of other individuals charged with offenses ranging from forgery and credit card fraud to rape, robbery and attempted murder. While working as an assistant public defender during the day, Mr. Drossner attended school at night and on the weekends, and he earned a master’s degree in trial advocacy (LL.M.) from Temple University’s Beasley School of Law. Mr. Drossner left the Defender Association after four-plus years and worked, for almost three years, at a premier white-collar litigation boutique in Philadelphia. As an associate of the firm, Mr. Drossner represented clients under investigation by the federal and/or state government in Philadelphia and the surrounding counties. In 2008, Mr. Drossner opened his law practice, Drossner Law, P.C. which now has offices in both Philadelphia and Montgomery Counties.
For the last four years, Mr. Drossner was selected as a “Rising Star Super Lawyer” in the field of Criminal Defense by Philadelphia Magazine and Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Magazine; the final list includes the top 2.5 percent of the best young attorneys in Pennsylvania. In addition, Mr. Drossner was one of only 30 lawyers from Pennsylvania selected as a “Lawyer on the Fast Track” by a panel of Judges with the assistance of The Legal Intelligencer and the Pennsylvania Law Weekly. Mr. Drossner currently sits on the Villanova Law Alumni Association’s Board of Advisors; the Board is responsible for creating, planning, and organizing events for Villanova Law School’s Alumni Association.
