Biography
Michael J. Lyon, Jr., Esq., is an associate in the Trial Department in the law firm of Duane Morris LLP in Philadelphia, PA, which he joined in 2009. His practice includes the representation of individuals and companies in the areas of commercial, securities, and antitrust litigation, professional malpractice litigation, and white collar crime defense. He is currently admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the District of New Jersey, and is a member of the Pennsylvania and Philadelphia Bar Associations.
During his second and third years of law school, Mr. Lyon was a member of the Villanova Trial Advocacy team. He was a member of Villanova’s winning team in the Lone Star Trial Competition in San Antonio, TX in October of 2008 and competed in various other trial competitions while a member of the team. He also was a member of the Villanova Law Review from 2007-2009 and served as Managing Editor of Research and Writing from 2008-09.
