Biography
Sheldon practices in the areas of Delaware corporate law, corporate and business litigation and creditor's rights.
Prior to joining the firm, Sheldon was an associate for the Law Offices of Prickett, Jones & Elliott, where he provided legal advice on Delaware law regarding corporations, limited liability companies, limited partnerships and general partnerships. He engaged in derivative, individual and class action litigation.
Sheldon served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable William T. Quillen of the Superior Court in Wilmington. He is currently an adjunct professor for Wilmington College and Villanova University School of Law.Sheldon received his B.A., magna cum laude, from Long Island University/C.W. Post Campus in 1993. He also received his M.S. in Criminal Justice, summa cum laude, from Long Island University/C.W. Post Campus in 1994. He is a 1997 graduate of Villanova University School of Law, where he served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Environmental Law Journal. While on the Environmental Law Journal Sheldon authored: Bennett v. Plenert: Using the Zone-of-Interests Test To Limit Standing Under The Endangered Species Act, 7 Vill Envtl. L.J. 375 (1996). He was also a 1995 recipient of the Louis L. Redding Fellowship.
Sheldon is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Delaware, the U.S. District Court, District of Delaware and the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Delaware and American Bar Associations.
