Sherry Olin Lemonick

Biography

Sherry Olin Lemonick has 25 years of legal experience representing privately-held companies in all phases of their business from formation through exit. Sherry has experience in many industries including pharma, healthcare, retail services and manufacturing. She counsels her clients on all types of corporate and financing matters. Sherry has experience in both the private practice of law as well as the in-house arena having worked in large law firms as well as the Director of Legal Services for a subsidiary of the University of Pennsylvania Health System with over 1500 employees where she managed the company’s legal department and utilized her legal and business expertise to advise senior management on a variety of day to day legal issues, including contracts, employment issues, strategic planning and litigation management.

With a degree in accounting, and a strong business background, Sherry's current practice seeks to work with a company's senior management team to assist her clients with the implementation of their its business plans and the achievement of their strategic goals. Sherry also provides her clients with business-related and legal advice in connection with:


• mergers, acquisitions and divestitures
• venture capital and equity financings
• asset-based and health care financings (senior and mezzanine)
• employment agreements
• corporate contracts
• real estate matters
• joint ventures and strategic alliances
• general contracts and day-to-day corporate work

Sherry teaches leveraged buyouts and E-Commerce at Villanova Law School while also serving as a guest speaker on mergers and acquisitions and emerging growth companies. She also serves as a member of the Advisory Board for the Rutgers University Institute for Financial and Legal Studies and is a frequent lecturer on various corporate issues affecting privately-held businesses, including Pennsylvania Bar Institute conferences in the venture capital arena. Ms. Lemonick has been consistently ranked as one of the top speakers at the Early Stage East Conference. She has lectured at the Bio Life Conference and University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business (venture capital). Sherry serves on a number of local boards and committees including the Philadelphia Chapter for the Association for Corporate Growth and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
