Biography
Mr. Spencer is a partner at the law firm of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, LLP where he has practiced since 1978. Mr. Spencer primarily practices in the areas of employee benefits and labor and employment law as these laws apply to employee benefits plans, including the Employee Retirement Income Security Act, the Age Discrimination In Employment Act, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Internal Revenue Code, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, the Mental Health Parity Act, and the Mothers and Newborn Protection Act. Mr. Spencer is the former Management Co-Chair of the Committee on Employee Benefits for the American Bar Association's Section on Labor and Employment Law and a frequent lecturer on employee benefit matters.
