Biography
Ms. Stevens joined the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania in December 2008 as an Assistant United States Attorney. She is currently assigned to the Firearms Unit and prosecutes crimes involving illegal firearms, Hobbs Act robberies, and narcotics. Prior to joining the United States Attorney’s Office, Ms. Stevens was an associate in the litigation department for Morgan Lewis & Bockius in Philadelphia from 2006 to 2008, and clerked for the Honorable Juan R. Sanchez in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania from 2005 to 2006. While attending Villanova Law School, Ms. Stevens was the Executive Editor of the Villanova Law Review, served on the Moot Court Board, and was a member of the Black Law Students Association. She also was a member of the Villanova National Mock Trial Team and won the law school’s Theodore Reimel Moot Court Competition in 1999. Ms. Stevens is the author of several psychological articles as well as The Admissibility of Expert Testimony on Repressed Memories of Childhood Sexual Abuse in Logerquist v. Mcvey: Reliability Takes a Backseat to Relevancy, 46 Vill. L. Rev. 385-419 (2001).
