Biography

Professor Vicenç Feliú joined the Villanova faculty as Director of the Law Library and Associate Professor of Law from the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law where he was Director of the Law Library and taught International Human Rights and Advanced Legal Research.  Prior to joining the UDC/DCSL faculty, he was the Assistant Director for Public Services and the Associate Librarian for Foreign, Comparative, and International Law at the Louisiana State University Paul M Hebert Law Center.  Professor Feliú’s scholarship has focused on Civil Law issues in Louisiana and in pedagogical reform in legal research.  His articles have been published in the Journal of Legal Education, the Louisiana Law Review, the International Journal of Legal Information, and Legal Reference Services Quarterly.  Professor Feliú received his B.A. in Linguistics from California State University, Fullerton, his J.D. and LL.M. in Intellectual Property, Commerce & Technology from the Franklin Pierce Law Center, and his M.L.I.S., with a Law Librarianship Certificate,  from the University of Washington.  Prior to entering academia, he was a Major in the United States Marine Corps and a Special Agent in the FBI.
