VLS Celebrates Diversity
Students, admitted students, faculty, staff and alumni came together for the Law School’s annual celebration of diversity at Villanova Law School. Student groups represented included Asian and Pacific American Law Students Association, Black Law Students Association, Middle Eastern Law and Cultural Society, OUTLaw, Latin American Law Students Association, and South Asian Law Students Association. Dean John Gotanda and Associate Dean Catherine Lanctot emphasized the importance of diversity and inclusion, and thanked the students for their efforts during the year. Dean Lanctot reminded the gathering that inclusion has been an important part of the Law School’s mission since its founding. The leaders of each student group recognized their executive boards for the current and upcoming academic years. The dinner was held in the Law School’s Blank Rome Dining Center.
