New Associate Director of Alumni Career Programs Appointed
Meg Cranford has joined Villanova Law School as Associate Director of Alumni Career Programs. Ms. Cranford comes to us from Pepper Hamilton, LLP, where she was Director of Professional Recruiting for 12 years. Highlights of her tenure at the firm include being part of a team that both implemented a cutting-edge interview model and the managed the nation's top Summer Associates Program as ranked by The American Lawyer.
In her new role, Ms. Cranford will oversee career strategy services for VLS alumni, including counseling in legal career planning, resume preparation, job search strategies, and practice specialties. She will also assist in counseling students, especially 3Ls, and manage alumni participation and engagement in career development for recent graduates and current students.
A graduate of Villanova University (BA) and The Catholic University of America’s Columbus School of Law (JD), Ms. Cranford received a Human Resource Management Certificate from The University of Pennsylvania's Wharton Executive Education Program in 2009. She also worked in the attorney recruiting departments at two other Am Law 100 firms prior to joining Pepper, and has interviewed over 3,000 attorneys and mentored nearly 300 summer associates during her 15 year legal recruiting career.
