Lisa Calvo Haas ’93 named Chief Marketing Officer
Cozen O’Connor recently names VLS alumna Lisa Calvo Hass ’93 as its Chief Marketing Officer.
Lisa Calvo Haas began her career with Cozen O’Connor as a summer associate in their New York office in 1993. After 13 years in litigation practice, Lisa was recognized for her business development efforts and was asked to dedicate more of her time to bringing in commercial litigation work for the firm. Although developing business “is in her blood,” she plans to put that part of her practice aside to concentrate on her new role as Chief Marketing Officer. In this new role, Lisa is responsible for the design and implementation of business development initiatives for the firm’s business law and commercial litigation departments. She works with firm and practice group leadership to execute key client service strategies and expansion efforts, develops new client relationships, manages key client relationships and firm relationships with strategic professional and trade organizations, leads the firm’s health care industry team and develops and implements business plans with key groups and professionals in the firm.
Prior to serving in her current role, Lisa has held various leadership roles in the firm, including founder of the firm’s alumni program and chair of the Cozen O’Connor Associates Committee. Lisa has published articles in the National Law Journal and the New York Law Journal on law firm management.
Lisa currently serves on the Boards of Directors of the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, Magee Rehabilitation Hospital, the Princeton University Club of Philadelphia, The Starfinder Foundation and is the Chairperson of the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce's Third Century Initiative. Lisa is a graduate of LEADERSHIP PHILADELPHIA.
Lisa received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Princeton University in 1988 and earned her law degree from Villanova University in 1993. She is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania.
