Seventh Circuit Cites Law Review Editor
Bernard Audet, one of Villanova Law Review's Managing Editors of Student Works, had his Note (selected in the fall of last year and published October 2010) cited by the Seventh Circuit in its January 26th opinion in Beard v. Comm'r, 2011 U.S. App. LEXIS 1575 (7th Cir. Jan. 26, 2011). Audet's article, One Case to Rule Them All: The Ninth Circuit in Bakersfield Applies Colony to Deny the IRS an Extended Statute of Limitations in Overstatement of Basis Cases, is cited in the first few paragraphs of the Seventh Circuit's opinion as an authority on the topic.
