Join the Conversation - Villanova Law Launches Interactive Site for Strategic Planning
On Friday, February 3, Villanova Law launched a new, interactive website designed specifically to make the strategic planning process both transparent and inclusive. The link to the new pages is http://www.law.villanova.edu/strategicplanning/. The site also can be accessed through the home page of the Villanova Law website.
The site has been designed to be interactive and offers all alumni, faculty, staff, students and friends the ongoing opportunity to weigh in on the emerging issues and questions that will be generated during the strategic planning process. Additionally, a growing list of external resources that are informing the planning process are found on the site.
To ensure the vibrancy and relevance of Villanova Law’s curriculum and programs, and most importantly the success of the Villanova Law graduate, the school is undertaking the strategic planning process to look at new models and methods of teaching, and current and future market demands. The strategic planning process will examine the challenges that exist and work to identify opportunities, while finding ways to build on the law school’s rich history and great traditions.
“I am convinced that the process of creating a new plan and new vision is as important as the final document itself,” said Dean John Gotanda. “We are committed to a process that is both inclusive and transparent, which is why these strategic planning web pages were created.”
To ensure that Villanova Law alumni spread across the country and beyond will have a voice in the process, the strategic planning committee will be sharing its work and progress on the new site. The content and the questions will change of as the various phases of planning move forward.
We invite you to visit the site often to consider the issues posted and then share your views and significant expertise to help shape the future direction of Villanova Law.
