VLS Pro Bono Society Golf Outing
Alumni, family and friends are invited to hit the links on Saturday, May 12, at the Paxon Hollow Golf Course, 850 Paxon Hollow Road, Media, to support the Villanova Law School Pro Bono Society.
Fifteen students will travel to New Orleans on March 3-10, 2012, to spend their spring break providing 35 hours of assistance to one several different Pro Bono firms in the area. Legal areas covered in the past have included family law, domestic abuse and racial discrimination. During past trips to New Orleans, Villanova students have worked closely with Southeast Louisiana Legal Services. This golf outing and other fundraising events will provide approximately $7,000 in travel and lodging costs for the 15 Law students.
For $89 each, golfers will play 18 holes and receive a complimentary sleeve of golf balls, followed by a drink special at Flip & Bailey’s, 900 Conestoga Road, Rosemont, on Saturday evening. Early registration ensures a better tee time. Put together a foursome to catch up with classmates or friends, or sign up as a single player and use the outing as an opportunity to network with other alumni and current students.
