The Walter Lucas Public Interest Fellowship Program Annual Auction at Villanova Law

The Walter Lucas Public Interest Fellowship Program (PIFP) cordially invites you to attend its annual Auction at Villanova School of Law on Friday, March 15, 2013.
Established in 1998, PIFP is an entirely student-run organization that provides fellowships to students working in unpaid summer internships with public interest organizations. Additionally, PIFP provides funding to Villanova Law graduates pursuing public interest careers through the Loan Repayment Assistance Program (LRAP).
To date, PIFP has raised over $650,000 and has awarded nearly 160 summer fellowships. PIFP raises funds for students working for an array of public interest organizations. Past fellowship recipients have employed their skills at Community Legal Services of Philadelphia, the Children's Law Center, the Homeless Advocacy Project, the National Center for Victims of Crime, Nationalities Service Center, and many others.
Alumni support enables PIFP to fund fellowships for students dedicated to public interest law who may otherwise be discouraged by a lack of funding. For many, this is the beginning of a lifelong career serving the public good.
Please support these students and Villanova Law's public interest community with your attendance at this year's Auction. If you are interested in donating to the Auction, please contact PIFP@law.villanova.edu for more information.
