The Hononorable Joseph T. Doyle '58
The Villanova Law School community mourns the loss of The Honorable Joseph T. Doyle '58, who served as Vice-Chairman of the Law and Justice Committee of the PA House of Representatives.  After retirement, Judge Doyle was counsel with the media-based firm Vincent B. Mancini & Associates.  Judge Doyle passed away on December 18, 2012 of cancer at his home in West Chester, Pennsylvania. more...

Deacon Thomas E. Eichman '58
The Villanova Law School community mourns the loss of Deacon Thomas E. Eichman '58, an Army veteran of the Korean War and founder of Thomas E. Eichman Associates, P.C., who practiced law until his retirement in 2001.  He was ordained to the Diaconate in 1997 where he served as a Deacon at St. Kevin Church until 2010.  Eichman passed away on November 27, 2012 at Broomall Presbyterian Village. more...

William E. Mowatt '59
The Villanova Law School community mourns the loss of William E. Mowatt '59 of Media, Pennsylvania.  After serving with the United States Army Reserve and the PA National Guard, Mowatt established a private law practice in Media, was very active in community associations and the Democratic party in Delaware County.  He passed away on December 28, 2012 at the age of 78. more...

John E. Roberts, Jr. '68
The Villanova Law School community mourns the loss of John E. Roberts, Jr. '68, of Coopersburg, Pennsylvania and Little Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey.  Roberts began his legal career as Associate Counsel at GAC, Allentown before going into private practice with The Honorable Edward Cahn, where he later became partner.  Roberts was very active in his community serving as Solicitor, CLE and a Police Academy lecturer. more...

Michael J. Izzo '69
The Villanova Law School community mourns the loss of Michael J. Izzo '69, a senior partner at Cozen O'Connor since 1973. Izzo was also an avid golfer and enjoyed playing squash at the Racquet Club of Philadelphia.  Izzo passed away on December 9, 2012 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. more...

Doris Casper '80
The Villanova Law School community mourns the loss of Doris Casper '80, of Clarksburg, New Jersey.  Casper graduated from Villanova Law as the first grandmother in the school's history to earn a J.D. degree.  Following graduation, she served as a volunteer attorney for the ACLU before retiring and traveling the world.  Casper passed away on January 2, 2013 at the age of 86. more...

Kevin McEwen '88
The Villanova Law School community mourns the loss of Kevin McEwen '88, of Scotch Plains, New Jersey.  McEwen began his legal career with Walters, McPherson, McNeill and later worked as senior corporate counsel at Hitachi America.  McEwen was very active in his community, coaching local youth sports teams and serving as lector and member of the St. Helen's parish pastoral counsel. more...
