Alumnus Named President-Elect of the PA Bar Association
Thomas G. Wilkinson, Jr., a 1981 graduate of Villanova School of Law, was recently named president-elect of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. He will become president of the 29,000-member organization in 2012.
Wilkinson is a member of the Commercial Litigation Practice Group of Cozen O’Connor, and heads the firm’s alternative dispute-resolution practice. He resides in the firm’s Philadelphia office, and concentrates his practice in business litigation, business torts, complex insurance coverage and professional responsibility matters.
A frequent lecturer and author on civil litigation and professional-responsibility topics, Wilkinson is the co-editor of the Pennsylvania Ethics Handbook, a comprehensive review of the rules of conduct governing lawyers, with extensive citations to case decisions and ethics opinions addressing all aspects of lawyer-client relationships.
Wilkinson also serves on the adjunct faculty of Villanova School of Law, and is a Master member of the Villanova Law J. Willard O’Brien American Inn of Court.
