Professor Edelman Elected President of LCCHP
Director of International Programs, Diane Edelman, has been elected as the new President of the Lawyers’ Committee for Cultural Heritage Preservation (LCCHP). LCCHP is a non-profit organization that promotes the preservation and protection of cultural heritage resources through legal advocacy and education.
Professor Edelman is enthusiastic about utilizing her new appointment to raise awareness of issues relating to cultural heritage. She explains that "cultural heritage law is one of the fastest growing legal fields and has gained new recognition as society comes to appreciate the important symbolic, historical and emotional role that cultural heritage plays in all our lives."
