VLS Appoints New Assistant Director of Development to Focus on Annual Giving
Dana Chipko has joined Villanova Law School as the Assistant Director of Development for Annual Giving, a new position created within the Law School’s Office of Development to increase both annual gift income and giving participation rates among alumni, parents, faculty, staff and friends of the Law School.
Dana brings with her a wide variety of experience in the areas of development, communications and public relations. Most recently, she served as Client Service Manager of AOI Communications, L.P. where she led a team in executing the publication plan for global pharmaceutical clients to ensure maximum exposure in oncology-related avenues. Previously, she served as the Campaign Director of the Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), where she led and managed the “Light The Night” walk campaign and raised nearly $3 million to benefit LLS. Dana also worked as an Assistant Account Executive with Tierney Communications where she managed the daily media relations activities of multiple high-profile accounts. She received her B.A. in Communications from Susquehanna University.
