VLS Alumni Lend a Hand
On March 31, 2012, VLS alumni Sarah Ponzio ’04, Justin A. Bayer ’04 and Colin O’Boyle ’07, participated in the North Penn Boys and Girls Club 2012 house project as members of the Montgomery County Bar Association Young Lawyers Division. This year’s house project focused on a local family going through a difficult time. The group arrived with yard tools, rakes, shovels, garden tools and paint brushes in hand, and despite the rainy and cold conditions worked tirelessly to help transform the family’s home. Those that attended were assigned to teams and specific projects including repairing the front porch, re-landscaping the yard, cleaning the back patio and lawn area, removing dead brush from the parameter of the property, cleaning and organizing the garage and shed areas, etc… By day’s end the group really had something to be proud of!
The North Penn Boys and Girls Club has two facilities, North Penn Valley located in Lansdale and Indian Valley located in Souderton.
