Networking ‘Inside the Beltway’
Villanova Law alumni living in the metro D.C. area have an opportunity to build their legal and business network on November 17. The VLAA DC/MD/VA chapter is partnering with the Villanova University Alumni Association to host a networking forum and panel discussion at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Building, 1615 H Street NW, from 6 – 9 p.m.
An hour-long panel discussion on the future of the American economy will be moderated by Dr. Jean Ann Linney, the Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Villanova. The panelists are Robert DeFina, Ph.D., VU Professor of Sociology, Alfonso Martinez-Fonts, VU ’71, executive vice president, US Chamber of Commerce, and Ron Cruse, VU ’77, author and CEO of Logenix International.
There will be time for networking and socializing that evening. The $25 per person fee includes heavy hors d'oeuvres, a full open bar and a booklet containing the names and contact information of everyone who registers in advance. Nearby Metro stops are McPherson Square, Farragut West or Farragut North. Colonial Parking garages are located on I Street, behind the U.S. Chamber building.
