VLS Mourns The Honorable Neale Francis Hooley '56
It is with great sadness that we share with you the passing of
The Honorable Neale Francis Hooley '56, of Lake Wylie, South Carolina. Judge Hooley passed away, on Sunday, October 21, 2012 at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House, Rock Hill, South Carolina.
Judge Hooley graduated from St. Francis College in Loretto, PA in 1953 and went on to become one of the first graduates of Villanova University School of Law in 1956. He then joined the US Marine Corps and continued on to practice law at Hooley, Butler, DiFrancesco and Kelly in Westfield, NJ. Thereafter, he was appointed a Judge of Compensation in Freehold, NJ.
Judge Hooley is survived by his wife, Margaret Jane Nichols Hooley; his brother, Richard Hooley of Weston, CT; his children and their spouses, Meghan and Brian O'Rourke of New Fairfield, CT, Alicia Hooley of Philadelphia, PA, Dana and Tim Woolley of Manasquan, NJ, Janney and Joe Petrone of Brielle, NJ, and Kristen Zonnevylle of Ashville, NC; and twelve grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on October 24, 2012 at All Saints Catholic Church, Lake Wylie, SC. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Judge Hooley's honor would be greatly appreciated for the building fund of All Saints Catholic Church, PO Box 5443, Lake Wylie, SC 29710.
