VLS Participates in Naturalization Ceremony
Tuan Samahon, Judge Sanchez, Kathleen D. Wilkinson ‘81
Villanova Law Professor Tuan Samahon was the distinguished guest speaker at a Naturalization Ceremony held Thursday, October 20, 2011, in the Ceremonial Courtroom of the U.S. District Court, at which immigrants were granted U.S. citizenship.
The Honorable Juan R. Sanchez of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania presided over the ceremony. Judge Sanchez is a member of the Law School’s Board of Consultors, the president of the Villanova Law J. Willard O’Brien Inn of Court, and an adjunct faculty member.
Additional remarks were made to the new citizens by Villanova Law Alumna Kathleen D. Wilkinson ’81, Vice Chancellor of the Philadelphia Bar Association, on behalf of the Philadelphia Bar Association.
