Life Around VLS

When you first arrive in Villanova, you will discover that just minutes away is the bustling city of Philadelphia. Although the town’s picturesque suburban setting makes it seem like your new law school is a world away from city life, there is a variety of options both in Philadelphia and the surrounding suburbs.  Villanova and surrounding neighborhoods give students the best of both worlds.  It offers the quiet and tranquility of a suburban town, as well a the excitement and nightlife of a college town.  Furthermore, with Philadelphia being less than 25 minutes away, the benefits of a big city are within arm's reach.

Walk to the train station adjacent to the law school, and you will find yourself in Center City after a short train ride, where a wealth of dining, shopping, and culture await you. Looking for something a little closer? The Main Line also boasts Zagat-rated restaurants and world-class shopping . The King of Prussia Mall, located right in our backyard, is the second largest shopping mall in the country, and also contains a plethora of dining options to suit every budget.  Manayunk and Conshohocken are two nearby neighborhoods that also offer a wide variety of bars, restaurants and places to live, and are both a short drive from Villanova's campus.  As any Philadelphian will tell you, there are cheesesteaks beyond Pat's and Geno's, and we've come up with a list that rivals and even bests their famous counterparts.

So go ahead, experience life around Villanova. We have a feeling you won’t be disappointed…
