Pro Bono Society
Mission:
The Pro Bono Society provides VLS students of every class year with opportunities to participate in a variety of long and short-term pro bono legal work and gain real, hands-on, resume-building experience while providing needed legal services to those who would not otherwise have access. Members will not only be able to network with alumni and other lawyers in the Philadelphia area, but will also learn how to begin incorporating pro bono service into their careers as future lawyers. Those who go above and beyond in terms of pro bono hours are recognized for their outstanding service at graduation with the Dorothy Day Award.
