The academic program at Villanova Law will provide you with the opportunity to develop a comprehensive understanding of the Anglo-American common law tradition, as well as mastery of federal and state statutory and administrative regimes. Building on a foundation of basic courses, you can select from a broad range of interesting elective and specialty offerings to design a curriculum suited to your own interests, but carefully constructed to prepare you for the challenging and dynamic profession you will enter. You will also have the opportunity to master practical skills in a variety of simulation and experiential courses, and through working in real-world settings in externships, and with actual clients in the Law School's outstanding clinical programs. Throughout your courses you will focus on values and professionalism, developing your own professional identity. Your Villanova Law education will prepare you well to succeed and flourish in the rapidly changing world of modern law practice.
