Academic Success Programs

The Villanova University School of Law Office of Academic Success Programs is designed to help students achieve academic success in law school. The Office of Academic Success Programs provides services to students through study skills seminars, instructional materials, one-on-one meetings, and an informational web page.

LaRasz Moody Director of Academic Success Programs

Ms. Moody earned her J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School where she participated in the Frederick Douglass Moot Court Competition and served as the Secretary of the Black Law Students’ Association. She also tutored first year law students in Contracts. She earned her BA and MA in Psychology and Clinical Social Work from the University of Chicago. Before coming to Villanova, Ms. Moody served as an Assistant Staff Judge Advocate in the United States Air Force. Prior to law school, she was a social worker in the Chicago Public Schools, and with the Illinois Department of Children and Family.
