Message from Mark A. Sargent, Dean

We are on the verge of making a dream come true. The Campaign for Villanova Law will culminate in a splendid new building for our law school. This much-needed building will replace Garey Hall which has served us well for fifty years, but which is now far too small for the growing and prospering institution that Villanova Law has become. The new building will be almost 70,000 gross square feet larger than its predecessor; and will contain all of the features essential to a modern law school. Our new building will mark a splendid new beginning for a splendid institution.

The new building, however, will not just be something new; it will also connect past, present and future generations of Villanova Law. It will be filled with the memories of those generations of students and faculties from the first fifty years of our history. The generosity of the alumni from that era will also make them a living presence in the new building they helped make possible and from which our present students will benefit. Future generations of Villanova Law students will close the circle as they follow in the footsteps of those who went before and inherit the legacy that we have established.
