Milwaukee Brewers’ outfielder, Ryan Braun, is once again being linked to performance enhancing drugs (“PEDs”). In 2011, the year Braun was named MLB’s National League MVP, he was under investigation for allegedly using PEDs which resulted in a suspension but an eventually successful appeal. This time the hype arises from a New York Times’ article which references a document containing names of players who purportedly owe funds to Anthony Bosch’s clinic in Miami, Florida. Braun explains that he and his legal team consulted with Bosch during his appeals process last year. Braun has expressed his willingness to cooperate with MLB officials should any inquiry follow.
