Career Strategy
Mission
The mission of the Office of Career Strategy & Advancement is to provide
core career planning education, recruitment programs, and individual counseling
that serve as the foundation for our students' future professional development
and satisfaction. The Career Strategy team, which includes 3 experienced
attorney-advisors and a career strategy specialist, works together to partner
with students in identifying and achieving their career goals. In addition, the
Career Strategy Office works with employers from diverse practice sectors and
locations to recruit Villanova's talented students and alumni.

Staff Contacts & Biographies
Each member of our staff brings unique perspectives and skills to the Career
Strategy mission.
Elaine Petrossian joined Villanova Law in August 2000, after practicing law
in 2 major Philadelphia law firms as a commercial litigator and gaining considerable
experience in attorney hiring, evaluation, training, and mentoring. As Assistant
Dean, Elaine has primary responsibility for the overall mission and administration
of the Career Strategy & Advancement, employer outreach and development,
and implementation of programs and policies. Elaine also works closely with
practicing attorneys, alumni, law school administration, and faculty to monitor
employment trends, develop programs, and market Villanova Law to the employer
community. In addition, Elaine works with students individually and in groups
to plan career development strategies and to maximize their potential for career

Kristin L. Archibald, Esq. (VLS '01) joined the Career Strategy Office in October of 2006, after practicing law for 5 years in the Philadelphia region. As the Director of Recruitment, Kristin has primary responsibility for the Law School's year round Recruitment Programs. Kristin works closely with our employer community to expand and maintain high quality student recruiting programs and job fairs, as well as markets Villanova Law to the legal community. Kristin counsels students in individual sessions and group education programs on the whole spectrum of career planning concerns. Elizabeth Dunn joined Villanova Law School in May 2007 after two years serving as House Counsel for the Environmental Resources and Energy Committee. During her time at the House, Elizabeth drafted legislation addressing property tax reform, clean air standards and low income energy assistance. As Counsel, she worked closely with the Department of Environmental Protection, the Department of Education and the Pennsylvania Department of Health. Juanita Mole is a native of Philadelphia, PA and joined Villanova Law School August 2005. Juanita received her Bachelors of Science in Information Technology from Peirce College. She contributes her experience working with web design, business software applications and online application systems. After completion of her temporary position at the Law School, Juanita joined the Career Strategy team in October 2005. As
a Career Strategy Specialist, Juanita provides the primary administrative support to our On Campus and Off Campus Recruitment Programs and Job Fairs, and assists the advising attorneys with other administrative duties. Juanita will continue her education in Computer Science at Villanova University spring of 2006.
