Graduates and guest of all faiths are welcome.
A continental breakfast follows the Mass in Dougherty Hall.

Commencement Ceremony
11:00 a.m.
The Pavilion, Villanova University
The ceremony concludes at 12:30 p.m.

Speaker
The Honorable Marjorie O. Rendell '73, Judge of the United States Third Circuit Court of Appeals and First Lady of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, will serve as the Law school's Commencement Speaker on May 16th and receive the Medallion Award.

Reception

A light reception will be held under a grand tent on Sheehan Lawn (next to the Villanova School of Business, facing Lancaster Avenue) following the ceremony from approximately 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. All graduates, families and friends are welcome to attend. |

Parking
Parking for the Mass and the Commencement Ceremony will be available in the Main lot directly across from the University on Lancaster Avenue.
Seating
Tickets are not necessary for the Commencement Ceremony. Each graduate may invite an unlimited number of guests.
Special Needs Requests
The deadline to submit Special Needs Requests was May 13, 2008. If you have special needs, please see a Public Safety Officer at the Commencement Ceremony or contact Barbara Sykes at (610) 519-7000.
Cap and Gown
Information will be sent out from the Registrar's office to all graduates regarding cap and gown orders. Distribution of Cap and Gowns is coordinated through the Career Strategy office in May. For cap and gown pick up instructions - Click here.

Hotel Accommodations
We encourage you to make your hotel and restaurant reservations as early as possible. A list of local hotels can be found here. If you plan to make restaurant reservations for the day of Commencement, the ceremony typically runs from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and the reception from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 pm. |
Graduation Announcements
Information regarding graduation announcements was mailed to all 3Ls’ home addresses the first week of March. Graduating students who do not receive this information should check that the address on file in the Registrar’s office is correct. Mailings were sent to students' local addresses on file. Order forms are also available from the law school receptionist in Room 106. Please check www.jostens.com for further information or with any questions about announcements.
Videotape
The Law School's media services department will be videotaping the Commencement Ceremony. Copies of the video will be available to graduates & their families. If interested, please contact mediaservices@law.villanova.edu.
