Student Organizations
Villanova Law School supports more than 30 student organizations governed through the
Student Bar Association. Co-Curricular organizations include three law journals, Moot Court Board, and Honor Board. Student Life at Villanova Law is enriched and diversified by its student organizations, extracurricular activities, and sense of community and tradition.
Student Organizations plan and organize a wide range of educational, social, athletic, cultural, religious, and professional events and activities throughout the academic year.

Asian & Pacific American Law Students Association
The Villanova University School of Law APALSA chapter is dedicated to promoting Asian interests to the Villanova community through cultural programs, legal programs and community service projects in and around the Philadelphia region. Our mission is to instill a greater awareness of the Asian culture which bears an impact upon both the legal and non-legal concerns of the Asian community. We are a non-exclusive organization that strives for greater diversity within its membership, and we hope to be the tie that brings together a community with a strong common interest in the celebration of Asian culture.

Black Law Students Association
The Black Law Students Association is a regional chapter of the larger National Black Law Students Association. The National Black Law Students Association (NBLSA) is a national organization designed to articulate and promote the professional needs and goals of Black law students. The Black Law Student Association at Villanova aims to foster the professional and academic growth and development of its membership, as well as promote solidarity amongst students at Villanova.

Child Advocacy Law Association
CALA's mission is to raise awareness of children's legal interests and advocate on children's behalf, from seeking justice for child abuse and neglect victims, to representing children in the criminal justice system, to providing representation of minor children's interests in domestic, custodial, probate and other civil matters. CALA plans to use volunteer and lobbying avenues to give a powerful voice to children.

Corporate Law Society
The Corporate Law Society seeks to educate students in the field of corporate law and to provide a network for students of like minds to further their interests. The Corporate Law Society strives to accomplish its mission by exposing students to all aspects of corporate law - including corporate securities, bankruptcy, merger and acquisition, private equity and other related practices - through contact with attorneys and academics dedicated to the study of corporate law in the local community.

Envrionmental and Energy Law Society
The Envrionmental and Energy Law Society's mission is to explore, discuss, and understand the policies that lie at the core of environmental and energy legislation and regulation. The society will delve into the actual, real-world consequences of environmental and energy policy and promote public knowledge of the effects such legislation and regulation can have at both the local, national, and international levels.

Federalist Society
The Federalist Society for Law and Public Policy Studies is a group of conservative and libertarian law students interested in the current state of the legal order. It is founded on the principles that the state exists to preserve freedom, that the separation of governmental powers is central to our Constitution, and that it is emphatically the province and duty of the judiciary to say what the law is, not what it should be. The Society seeks both to promote an awareness of these principles and to further their application through its activities.

Health Law Society
The mission of the Villanova Health Law Society is to foster a greater understanding and awareness of health law-related issues, such as stem cell research, end-of-life decision-making, medical malpractice reform, pharmaceutical regulation and ERISA preemption. We also aim to give students who are interested in health law issues an open forum to discuss their thoughts and ideas. We will sponsor symposia, career discussion panels, and debates.

Intellectual Property Society
The Intellectual Property Law Society strives to inform students of the diverse areas of IP law and its wide application through patents, copyrights and trademarks. The Justinian Society seeks to unite law students and professionals of Italian heritage to work toward a common goal of serving the community. Law & Philosophy Society
Our society is a meeting and discussion group composed of students and faculty members interested in philosophical and theoretical issues in the law. We read texts and share ideas aroused by those readings pursuant to a more robust understanding of the genesis and structures of the legal institution in America and legal authority generally. Participants are able to sharpen their theoretical thinking skills and hence enhance their classroom (and professional) experiences.

Phi Delta Phi
Phi Delta Phi International Legal Fraternity, established in the year 1869 to promote a higher standard of professional ethics, is among the oldest of legal organizations in North America. During the past three decades, Phi Delta Phi's reputation as an organization devoted to legal excellence has begun to spread into México and Europe.
The total initiated membership of Phi Delta Phi exceeds 200,000 persons. More judges, American presidents, governors, senators, representatives, cabinet members, ambassadors, American Bar Association presidents, Association of American Law School presidents and law school Deans have come from the ranks of Phi Delta Phi than from any other legal fraternity.

Pro Bono Society
The Pro Bono Society is an organization devoted to creating and providing needed legal services to those who would not otherwise have access. To fund some of these projects, fundraising is an important, yet, secondary activity of the Society. Public Interest Fellowship Program
The Public Interest Fellowship Program (PIFP) at the Villanova University School of Law provides financial support to students who commit their summers to public service legal work. Many law students, dedicated to helping the less fortunate, are limited by financial constraints. Similarly, public interest organizations often cannot afford to hire much needed summer legal interns. Through fundraising, PIFP provides summer fellowships to Villanova Law students, who in turn aid the larger community through their work with various public interest organizations.

The Saint Thomas More Society dedicates itself to promoting the Catholic faith at Villanova Law School. We endeavor to build a sense of community among our members, fostering personal and group spirituality. Women's Law Caucus
Women's Law Caucus Mission: By and though its members, WLC strives to create an atmosphere that provides an open forum for discussion among its members and the entire legal community of the Villanova Law School. The Women’s Law Caucus (WLC) desires to raise awareness about legal issues pertaining to and affecting the female community, as well as non-legal issues that its members want to address. WLC may address these various issues at its meetings, through participation in school-sponsored events, through participation in outside-sponsored events, and by communicating and working with other student groups recognized at the Law School. WLC aims to form meaningful relationships with the various students groups recognized by the Law School. WLC welcomes any member of the Law School community as a member of its organization.
